Community Tables and Non Profit Groups
Callingwood Farmers’ Market is proud to support our community with Community Corner. Each market day, table space is available for local community awareness and non-profit groups at no charge to fundraise or generate awareness of their organization.
In order to be eligible to participate in Community Corner, organizations must fall into one of the following categories:
- Local sports or team fundraisers
- Non-profit groups looking to raise awareness or sell goods to raise funds for local initiatives*
- Non-profit community organizations looking to increase awareness on local issues such as safety, well-being, environment etc.
*Groups are not permitted to sell items that conflict in any way with the current farmers’ market vendor offerings.
Callingwood Farmers’ Market is an Alberta Approved Farmers’ Market through Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development. As an approved market we proudly display the Sunny Girl logo. This indicates that we have met the program guidelines, to ensure you that we are selling the best products. We adhere to the 80/20 rule where 80% of our vendors sell products that they have either made, baked or grown. You can be assured that the majority of products purchased from the Callingwood market go to helping support our local economy.
Organizations are encouraged to contact our Market Manager, Wayne Hryniw, here for more information and availability. Table space is assigned on a first come, first served basis.
“Us [farmers’ market] vendors love what we do, we are compassionate about our creations and can spend hours talking about it!”
