10th Annual Cornfest & Family Fun Day

Saturday, September 6, 2008 · Noon to 5 p.m.

On September 6, 2008, the Marketplace at Callingwood will be hosting the 10 th Annual Cornfest and Family Fun Day in support of the Firefighters Burn Treatment Society (Edmonton Chapter).

Each year, the Firefighters' Burn Unit treats approximately 200 burn victims in the Edmonton area. The majority are young children who have been scalded or firefighters who are injured on the job. Fortunately, the Firefighters Burn Treatment Society exists to help local burn victims through research and development, special equipment and training, and the Alberta Children Burn camp.

Cornfest and Family Fun Day takes place in the MarketPlace at Callingwood south parking lot (69 Avenue and 178 Street). This year, the event will feature tasty taber corn and a variety of fun-filled activities for the entire family.
